“you have visa – free (no need for any passport) travel throughout Europe on your Campione resident’s card. It is valid in all of euro land + switz. In fact, as a resident of Campione you are automatically the equivalent of a Swiss resident. You get a swiss div license, Swiss telephone, Swiss address, Swiss plates on your car.
It takes around 10 years to get an Italian passport based on residency alone tho with marriage, it is 3 years. A Swiss passport takes about 12 years to get on residence alone, but by then, switz will probably be a full EU country.”
